Calling All Breakfasts

What do you gals eat for breakfast?

Lately I've been eating:

1/2 cup raw old fashioned oatmeal (I like it chewy and raw...not cooked and slimy)
1/2 cup fresh blueberries (or strawberries or raspberries, but blubes are my favorite and most low maintenance)
1/2 cup milk
sprinkle of sugar
(measurements are approximate)

It's like a healthy blueberry shortcake.

Lately I've been eating an egg over easy on toast with a slice of tomato and Avacado. It's yummy.

I'm not sure I would like raw oatmeal, isn't it kind of starchyish?

breakfast = my least favorite meal of the day. i never know what to eat, i'm never hungry, but i force myself to eat it (esp if i'm going to the gym).

my favorite breakfast item: no bake cookies.
my most common breakfast item: toast.
my second favorite: smoothie with oatmeal in it.
what i end up having if we have no toast: granola bar.
what i've been making more of lately: pancakes.
if i feel like it: cut oats...i actually love cut oats with pb, cinnamon, and nuts in it, i just hate the process of making them for some reason. they are not hard.

Have you ever poached an egg? It's pretty amazing. Just spoon it into boiling water and let it go for 3 minutes. perfection. I just looked up how to do it in Betty Crocker, and rob and I ate them at like 11 at night.

I do german pancakes a lot just because I can throw them in the oven and not worry about them. I'm also a fan of bacon in the oven. Sooo much easier. I found the method on Our Best Bites.

We like greek yogurt with granola too.

i always have toast. sometimes cereal. before I was pregnant I was trying to eat healthier and I always had eggs with zucchini, onion and bell pepper. IT was so good, and it really didn't take long to make.

okay kelli I had your healthy blueberry shortcake and it tasted nothing like blueberry shortcake.

I have to say it was okay, I think I would prefer it with cooked cut oats. That's my favorite way to eat oats. I prefer the oats slimy to soggy.
