banana ice cream

this is a healthy ice cream substitute, for those who are trying to shed a few extra pounds or want to trick your kids with something healthier than ice cream...and it's almost like a little miracle.

take 3 frozen bananas (or more if you like) and beat the heck out of them in a food processor or a vitamix.  It takes about 3 minutes or so and you have a banana that tastes and has the texture of ice cream.

I tried it first in my blender (which I think is a pretty good one) and it didn't work, the bananas got stuck under the blades...try in a blender at your own risk.
