What are you all having for Christmas dinner?
I'm for sure going to make a ham...but what else?

i've been wanting to try roasted brussell sprouts and i saw ree make some this morning: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ree-drummond/brussels-sprouts-with-balsamic-and-cranberries-recipe/index.html .

i'm going home and i know that kim/aaron tradition is soup in bread bowls (but you are making ham, so that doesn't work).

potatoes au gratin or funeral potatoes go well with ham...

Jamie, I just watched that too. She made brussel sprouts look tasty. I want that balsamic vinaigrette.

My family does a traditional candy cane jello mold for christmas and we stripe it with whip cream. mmm.

You could your moms savory yams. Like mashed potatoes without all the yucky marshmallow junk. We had that at our ward party with ham and it was good. Rolls are always good. Some kind of salad would be yum-o too.

Grease-fest 2011. If it's fried, it's at grease-fest.

emily, i thought grease fest was new years...

we are having ham, funeral potatoes, probably a salad. my friend made the most deliecious sweet potatoes for tgiving. if you want the recipe, I'll get it. They seriously tasted like pudding. they were sooooo good.
rolls. i need to think of a good veggie, but I don't know if I'll have the desire to do much more.
